This could not be any truer than in an interview setting. All too often people will share what they will do or would do...never an actual concrete example of what they have done.
Be sure that you share strong examples and bring proof sources if you have them. That proof or those examples give the interviewer the "ammo" that they need to go back and confidently say that you have the competencies for the job.
