"What are some of the more difficult problems facing someone in this position? How do you think these could best be handled?"
"Where could a person who is successful in this position go, and within what time frame?"
"What significant changes do you forsee in this industry in the near future?"
I hope you see that questions like these demonstrate a genuine interest in the opportunity. They are not just questions like "tell me about your training program...".
Go into the interview with a level of confidence that you are going to get the job...you are the best candidate...you have earned the right to ask these types of questions. When you have that mindset, good questions to ask will simply bubble to the top...because you are invested...you have ownership of the role...you are not an observer like the other candidates...but the one who is going to transition Into this opportunity.
