The Pharma Sales Interview Breakthrough Blog
Good morning everyone! I wanted to pass this on. I think it's really important as we are all so very task oriented and task saturated. Often times it's our own fault. We fill empty time or time that could be dedicated to strategic thought...with efforts that have a low return on investment (ROI).
We feel the need to be busy for the sake of being busy. Or, we fill that time that we could be resting and enjoying our time on this planet...with busy tasks.
Parkinson's law is the adage that "work expands so as to fill the time available for its completion"
Keep this in mind as you work on a project till the very last minute. What was the ROI on that time you spent...or that time you traded on that project? Did it really make the difference? If not, cut bait next time and put your foot down on a project when it is DONE.
And then spend the rest of the time investing in true high ROI projects...like your family or a loved one.
Have a great week.
